Where It All Began
Our story began in 1969 when Anthony Scherba opened Carpet Care & Sales in Strathroy. He saw an opportunity to serve his community with quality flooring, hard work, and a promise to do things the right way. That commitment carried through the generations, from Anthony to his son David. Then later to Amanda, a third generation who brought fresh energy and new ideas to the family business.
Over the years, scherba & co. has grown from a small family flooring business to a full-service design destination for homeowners, builders, and designers across Southwestern Ontario. While continuing to be a trusted source for hardwood, vinyl plank, carpet, and tile, we’ve expanded into a comprehensive lighting store with a wide selection of pendants, chandeliers, wall lights, and more. We can even help with furniture and home décor, making it easier to bring every element of your space together. In 2012, we opened our second showroom in downtown London to better serve our growing customer base.
Jeremy Scherba launched Beckham Brothers, our in-house flooring brand recognized for combining elevated design with reliable performance. The collection reflects our ongoing commitment to offering high-quality, design-forward materials that suit a range of homes and budgets.
