scherba & co Return Policy

We understand that sometimes the perfect piece… isn’t quite perfect. Whether it’s not the right size, style or shade, we’re here to help you find what does work!

Many of our items are custom ordered just for you, which means they’re not stocked in our warehouse. Because of this, returns may be subject to additional supplier-related costs including restocking feeds, return shipping, and duties.

To Keep Things Simple:

  • A 20% restocking fee applies to most returned items
  • Prefer to skip the fee? Opt for store credit or exchange your item and we will waive the restocking fee entirely.

Please note: Return shipping to our showroom is the responsibility of the customer. Refunds are issued to the original payment method, less original shipping and handling charges. These charges are non-refundable unless your item arrives damaged, defective, or incorrect.

Products Eligible for Return:
To qualify for a return, item must:

  • Be delivered within the last 30 days
  • Be unused, uninstalled, and in original packaging (including all instructions, parts and materials)

The following products can be returned if they meet the above criteria:

  • Plug In lighting
  • Hardwired lighting under 30” in height, width or diameter

Products Not Eligible for Return:
We are unable to accept returns on the following:

  • Items received more than 30 days ago
  • Items with damaged or written-on packaging
  • Items missing original materials or components
  • Installed hardwired lighting
  • Customized, personalized, or special-order products
  • Open boxed items or display models
  • Hardwired lighting larger than 30” in height, width or diameter

How To Start a Return:
If your item meets the eligibility requirements above, please complete our return form.

Once submitted, a member of our customer care team will reach out within 1-2 business days with next steps.

After your item is received, our team will complete a quality control inspection within 3-5 business days. If approved, we’ll process your return accordingly.

Important: Items received without original packaging, installed products, or returns with unpaid postage will be returned to the sender.

Damaged Claims:
We’re truly sorry if you have received a damaged product — we know how disappointing that can be, especially after waiting patiently for your delivery.

While damaged products are unfortunately beyond our control, they can happen from time to time, we’re here to help make it right. If your order arrived damaged, incorrect, or with missing items, please notify us within 48 hours by filling out [this form].

Please note that many of our products are handcrafted using natural materials, which means some variation in appearance is to be expected. Colors, textures, and finishes may differ slightly from what you see online or in-store.

Natural materials like marble or stone are beautifully unique — no two pieces are exactly alike. Because of these natural variations, we’re unable to accept returns based solely on differences in color or pattern.
